West Norwood shooting: victim named

Matt Watts at the Streatham Guardian has an exclusive on Saturday night’s murder in West Norwood. The man killed is named in the piece as Ricardo Cunha:

The 23-year-old, a talented footballer, was shot at the window of his family home in Pondfield House, Elder Road, at about 11.20pm on Saturday night.

Police have said they believe it was a targeted attack. But detectives also said Ricardo had no criminal record and was not known to police.

via West Norwood murder victim named as Ricardo Cunha (From Streatham Guardian).

An incident room has been set up at Lewisham, but the police line is still that this was a “targeted incident”, which seems a bit at odds with the details of the case.
